The Pork Tornadoes

The Midwest’s Premiere Party Band. The group has spent the last 20 years becoming one of the area’s most popular cover bands, playing all your favorite pop/rock hits from the 1980s-today. Their debut EP peaked on the Apple iTunes Pop charts at #20 and was streamed over half a million times in 2020.

David Allan Coe

Hit songs include: “Mona Lisa Lost Her Smile,” “The Ride,” “You Never Even Called Me by My Name” and “She Used to Love Me a Lot”

David Allan Coe served time in prison before setting his dreams on becoming a country music star. Coe headed to Nashville in 1967 and found his first big success over five years later — as a songwriter.

Coe’s musical style derives from blues, rock and country music traditions. His vocal style is described as a “throaty baritone.” His lyrical content is often humorous or comedic, with William Ruhlmann describing him as a “near-parody of a country singer.” Stephen Thomas Erlewine describes Coe as “a great, unashamed country singer, singing the purest honky-tonk and hardest country of his era …… He may not be the most original outlaw, but there’s none more outlaw than him.”

EVERCLEAR

Hit songs include: “Wonderful,” “Santa Monica,” “Father of Mine” and “Everything to Everyone”

After forming in 1992, the members of Everclear have enjoyed a lengthy career spanning 11 studio releases, thousands of shows, numerous music videos and a 1998 Grammy nomination for Best Rock Instrumental Performance. The band hosts an annual traveling rock ‘n’ roll festival known as Summerland, where they have shared the stage with bands such as Sugar Ray, Soul Asylum, Filter and Marcy Playground.

Mark Chesnutt

Neo-honky tonker Mark Chesnutt parlayed a solid grounding in classic country into chart-topping stardom during the ’90s. Born in Beaumont, Texas, in 1963, Chesnutt grew up listening to his father’s extensive country record collection (Bob Chesnutt had been a locally popular singer who never hit it big, and thus worked as a used-car salesman). Chesnutt learned both guitar and drums and made his professional singing debut with his father’s band at age 15 on the local club scene. He even dropped out of high school for a time to pursue music, but later reconsidered and got his diploma; meanwhile, his father began taking him to Nashville for recording sessions.
