JONATHAN SWAIN
President

Jonathan Swain is the President of P2E. A gaming veteran with more than 25 years in the industry, he has developed and completed construction on several casinos across the country for Peninsula Gaming. Later, with P2E, Jonathan also developed outstanding entertainment venues including del Lago Resort & Casino in Waterloo, New York, Colonial Downs Racetrack and Rosie’s Gaming Emporium locations in Virginia, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Sioux City, Iowa – all of which were sold to Churchill Downs Incorporated in 2022 for $2.75 billion.

He was also a key player in the successful development of Kansas Crossing Casino in Pittsburg, Kansas, which opened in 2017. Today, Kansas Crossing is an economic driver and a popular destination in the region, employing more than 400 people and annually drawing hundreds of thousands of local guests and out-of-state visitors.

Today, Jonathan has led the charge to usher in a new era of gaming in the northeast United States. Millions of dollars have been invested in several gaming facilities in New Hampshire – including Filotimo Casino & Restaurant in Dover, Filotimo Casino & Restaurant in Manchester, Wonder Casino in Keene and Lebanon Poker Room and Casino – to give guests gaming and dining experiences they can’t find anywhere else in the region.

P2E’s locations in Kansas and New Hampshire give back to the communities in which they operate – a major priority for all properties in which Jonathan has been a leader. In addition to setting the highest standards for service and quality at each facility, these casinos have been recognized for their charitable giving and volunteering efforts that make their communities better places to live, as well as play.

With an eye on the future, Jonathan continues to be engaged in the development of even more exciting projects and gaming opportunities across the U.S.

He has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a bachelor’s degree in hotel administration from the University of Wisconsin, Stout.
